Nature Inspired Gelli Print Workshop Join Katie a botanical printmaker and take a little time to unwind and relax with this mindful printmaking workshop. Giving yourself time to connect with nature, using foraged foliage and a gelli plate to create natural prints exploring texture, colour and layering techniques. You will learn how to print using a gelli plate, covering the fundamentals of this practice, including application, how to hand mix your own colours with acrylic paints, and colour theory knowledge. Taking you through each step of the process and teaching you how to strategically plan the layers of a print for a successful outcome. You will then have an opportunity to be playful and create your own botanical artworks which can be framed or even turned into cards and bookmarks! Better yet, Katie will provide you with a recipe to create your own gelli plate at home so the fun can continue beyond the workshop!
