Cicada CXXM65 6.5-Inch Mid-Bass Speakers The CXXM65 is a dedicated motorcycle mid-bass driver designed to produce strong, responsive output from a compact 6.5-inch platform. It does not contain an integrated tweeter. Pairing the CXXM65 with the model-specific Cicada horn tweeters creates a true multi-driver front soundstage with dedicated mid-bass and high-frequency reproduction. 100W RMS Per Speaker Each CXXM65 handles 100 watts RMS and 200 watts maximum. 2Ω or 4Ω Options Select CXXM65.2 or CXXM65.4 according to the amplifier and wiring requirements. The horn tweeters use their own included crossover networks and should not receive full-range unfiltered amplifier output. Use the included crossover network for each tweeter. Do not connect the tweeters directly to an unfiltered amplifier channel. Confirm whether the amplifier supports the selected 2Ω or 4Ω mid-bass load. Set mid-bass high-pass and low-pass filtering for the completed system. Set amplifier gain using measured clean output. Confirm left and right speaker polarity before reinstalling the fairing. Do not use amplifier gain controls as volume controls. Balance the horn tweeters with the CXXM65 mid-bass speakers during tuning.
