ORDINARY FITS A Japanese brand founded in 2008 under the concept of “clothes you will still want to wear 10 years from now.” Rooted in simplicity, the brand places particular emphasis on silhouette and sewing. Its quality has been cultivated over many years at the brand’s own factory in Kojima, Okayama, one of Japan’s renowned denim-producing regions. Rather than creating disposable clothing driven by trends, ORDINARY FITS makes pieces designed to become part of the wearer’s everyday life. 12oz denim that recreates the soft, relaxed feel of vintage. Updated from the previous 14oz fabric to approximately 12oz denim. The same warp yarn used in the one-wash model is retained, while a finer weft yarn recreates the thin, soft texture of vintage denim whose threads have naturally worn down through years of use. A USED finish incorporating handwork creates natural fading and authentic wear marks. Even from new, the jacket has the rich character of a piece that has already been worn for years. Vintage-inspired 1st Type details. A large single chest pocket is paired with pleats through the front body, creating a classic 1st Type design that is simple yet full of presence. The front is finished with original engraved buttons. Their understated character blends naturally with the worn appearance of the denim, subtly enhancing the jacket’s vintage feel. A cinch back, an iconic detail of vintage denim jackets, is placed at the rear. In addition to adding character from behind, it allows the fit around the waist to be adjusted. A cropped, wide box silhouette. The length is kept clean and slightly short, while generous room through the body and armholes creates a boxy silhouette.
