Bosch 363cc/min EV14 Top Feed Fuel Injector – 3/4 Length Body with Extended Pintle Nose Due to its form factor, this injector is a great upgrade option to consider for specific applications. Beyond its ‘out of the box’ dimensions, it can also be configured with either a top adapter cap or a lower adapter cap to achieve a ‘full length’ body. We can also change the top and bottom seal sizes as required. See info box below for further explanation of use cases for this injector. Features: Excellent atomisation, droplet sizing and spray pattern providing the ability to achieve perfect idle along with great economy and the potential for increased power. “3/4 Length” extended nose injector. (NB: Top or bottom spacers / adapters available separately to make the fuel injector a “standard full length”. The top adapters can be supplied with a 11mm or 14mm top o-ring to suit your fuel rail. High Impedance, so works with all aftermarket ECU’s without the need to use ballast resistors. Ethanol Compatible Injector sold individually. Specification: Top O-ring Size 14mm Bottom O-ring Size 14mm Flow Rate (cc per minute) 363cc at 43 PSI Injector Connector EV1 / JPT Injector Length (O-ring centre to O-ring centre) 53mm Spray Pattern Dual Cone Resistance 12 Ohms Dead-time data Can be supplied with purchase Optional extras: 2-pin Bosch EV1 / JPT Injector Connector 11mm Short Top Adapter 14mm Short Top Adapter Instead of fuel injectors mounted at the base of the runners on cast aluminium intake manifolds, it has become common on port injected engines (particularly with plastic intakes) to find the injectors mounted into the cylinder head. More often than not, the injector will have an ‘extended’ pintle nose for correct positioning of the pintle. With a 3/4 length body and extended pintle nose this Bosch 363cc/min injector is often a suitable upgrade option for such applications. We have seen several European (e.g. VW/Audi and BMW) engines with either OEM Bosch or Siemens injectors where this can be used as a ‘direct fit’ upgrade injector. For Japanese engines, there are several ways we can configure this injector for correct fitment. For example, we’ve encountered some late model Toyota and Suzuki engines with OEM Denso injectors with a full length body and extended pintle nose. For an upgrade, this injector was then used with an 11mm top adapter and a 16mm lower seal for correct fitment. Also note that the electrical connectors need to be changed to the EV1 type. If you wish to contact us to request configuring these injectors to suit a specific engine, please provide details and dimensions of your OEM injectors and we’ll be happy to help. As a minimum, we’ll need the top and bottom o-ring/seal outside diameter and the injector length (o-ring to o-ring) clearly defined. The most important reason why this form factor of extended pintle nose injector works where others may not is the often overlooked issue of the position of the electrical connector when installing the injector. For example, when using the popular 1/2 length Bosch EV14 injectors with extended pintle nose (such as the Bosch 1000cc/min injector), it is common to have clearance issues between the connector housing and the cylinder head and/or manifold. With this 363cc/min injector having a 3/4 length body, the connector position is higher, providing more clearance to fit the connector on.
