A better crimp starts with the right match Match the terminal and cavity. Strip to the terminal maker’s specified length, position the conductor and insulation tabs, complete the tool’s cycle, then inspect the connection against the terminal specification. Why do models with the same AWG range differ? Wire range is only one part of the fit. Conductor and insulation cavities differ in width, height and thickness.
