Colours of Home

Pre-Order Colours of Home by Adam Young is a vibrant celebration of the outport hillsides that define life along Newfoundland's coast. Through bold colour palettes and expressive brushwork, Young stacks a tumble of saltbox homes in pink, navy, red, green and yellow up a grassy rock face, linked by weathered wooden stairs, while a red stage and a golden fishing shed stand on stilts at the water's edge. Below, the harbour holds their reflections in rich, saturated ribbons of red, gold and violet beneath a rippling teal sky. The tall, narrow composition carries the eye from the water to the highest rooftop, capturing the quiet glow of a harbour at day's end. Colours of Home is a tribute to the spirit of outport life, and a captivating addition to any home or collection. #Paper875x21 Edition of 150 #Canvas10x24 Open Edition #Canvas20x48 Edition of 100
