Eichinger Kamptal Riesling Zobing 2025
This wine consists of 100% Riesling. The grapes originate from the absolute top vineyards Gaisberg and Heiligenstein in the Austrian Kamptal. After a careful manual selection in the vineyard, the grapes undergo a short maceration on the skins. This is followed by a temperature-controlled fermentation and a four-month aging on the lees in stainless steel tanks, after which the wine is bottled at the end of February. Tasting note A classic Riesling from the Kamptal with distinct aromas of stone fruit, such as peach, and a subtle touch of tropical fruit. The wine is wonderfully juicy, crisp, and straightforward, featuring a fresh, vibrant acidity. This wine possesses plenty of character and a beautiful, full structure that is typical of the region's stony soils. Food pairing The ideal companion for freshwater fish such as Arctic char, trout, and pike, but also tastes fantastic with poultry dishes or fresh goat's cheese.
