Inspired by military fatigue hats, it features a rounded crown and a brim that extends all the way around. The fabric is a high-density military serge made from 100% cotton. After construction, each hat undergoes a vintage finishing process, creating subtle differences from one piece to another and giving the fabric that wonderfully relaxed, well-worn character. But the real highlight of this hat is, of course, the ear flaps! Tuck them inside for a clean, classic hat silhouette. When the weather turns cold, simply pull them out to cover your head and ears for extra warmth. The underside of the ear flaps is made from a brushed, suede-like cotton fabric. All three colors feature the same brick-red lining, which adds a lovely little contrast. The brim is finished with multiple rows of stitching, giving the soft fabric a distinctive, structured appearance. It looks right at home with denim jackets, coveralls, and military outerwear, but would also pair beautifully with sweatshirts and flannel shirts. One thing worth mentioning is the fit. With the ear flaps tucked inside, the approximate head measurements are 56cm for size 36, 57cm for size 38, and 60cm for size 40. In this configuration, the hat fits a little smaller and sits slightly shallower on the head. Pull the ear flaps out, and the hat sits deeper, comfortably covering your head and ears when the temperature drops. It would be a shame to save this one just for winter.
