Suspend the card from the rearview mirror stem or an overhead interior utility rail. Keep the card hanging freely in open air without contacting plastic dashboard surfaces, consoles, or leather upholstery. Q: Why must the scent card avoid direct contact with interior plastics? Concentrated fragrance oils within absorbent cardstock can soften or discolour automotive interior plastics and leather coatings under intense solar radiation and high cabin temperatures. Q: Why does the printed scent card appear darker than the product photos? Liquid fragrance infusion saturates the absorbent cellulose paper cardstock, causing printed pigments to appear noticeably darker while sealed in the packaging. As the fragrance oils evaporate in ambient cabin air, the paper cardstock dries and the surface graphic gradually brightens. A color variance of up to 15% between oil-saturated paper and dry digital renderings is standard in scented cardstock manufacturing.
