Martin D-28 2001

This is a 2001 D-28. The entire top features weather checking, which has taken on a faint tint, giving it a distinctive, characterful appearance. While there are some minor imperfections, there are no noticeable scratches or dents. There also appear to be no cracks in the wood or any history of repairs related to them. A pickup was previously installed, and the endpin hole has been enlarged. An ebony endpin is currently installed. There is no history of a strap pin being installed on the neck heel. The neck is in good condition, and the string action at the 12th fret is standard: 2.5 mm on the 6th string and 2.0 mm on the 1st string. There is approximately 3 mm of saddle material remaining on the 6th string side and 2.5 mm on the 1st string side. It produces a brilliant sound characteristic of the D-28, with a noticeable boost in the mid-to-low frequencies. It comes with the original hard case. Click here to watch a demo video.
