2016 Sea Smoke 'Southing' Pinot Noir

"Now entering a particularly expressive stage of maturity, the 2016 Southing offers layered aromas of dried cranberry, cardamom, anise, and subtle savory notes. The palate is broad and expressive, revealing flavors of dark cherry and plum complemented by fine tannins and fresh acidity. Though richly textured, the wine retains remarkable energy and balance, carrying through a long finish marked by spice, cedar, and nuanced earth-driven complexity. Now drinking beautifully, the wine retains the structure and freshness to continue evolving gracefully for another five years or more." Don Schroeder & Matt Steel (September 14, 2026)
