Now & Again: Cinema

Now & Again: Cinema Cinema is more than what appears on screen. It is a meeting point of ideas, images, sounds, spaces, and the many creative disciplines that bring a film to life. In this issue of Now & Again, contributors from diverse artistic backgrounds explore their own interpretations of filmmaking and the lasting influence of cinema on their creative practices. From writing and set design to sound and theatrical distribution, the publication looks beyond the finished film to consider the collaborative processes and creative possibilities that shape the cinematic experience. Moving between artistic disciplines and personal perspectives, Cinema invites readers to consider how films inspire new ideas, inform creative expression, and leave impressions that extend far beyond the screen. Published by Now & Again, an independent art and design magazine exploring new ideas through thematic issues, collaborations, and diverse creative perspectives, this edition is a thoughtful addition for anyone interested in the intersections of cinema, art, and visual culture. +++ Language: English Format: Softcover | 176 pages Dimensions: 148 x 210mm | 340g Publication Year: December 2024 ISSN: 2630-5186
