Eye of Shiva Pocket Talisman

A small Eye of Shiva shell, about the size of a quarter or a little smaller, with a natural spiral on its face and a smooth, domed back. Made to carry as a pocket talisman. In Sacred Crystals' Teaching The Eye of Shiva is a beautiful natural gem completely formed by mother nature from what started as a shell. Found in the seabeds of Thailand and Indonesia, it is the protective door at the opening of the Turban snail's shell, which detaches at the end of the snail's natural life. It is believed to open the Third Eye chakra, transforming and muting negative energy. It symbolizes the creation, preservation and destruction of everything: the flow of life, constant change in the universe, spiritual knowledge, and creative visualization. Chakra: Third Eye. What Makes This Piece Shell: Eye of Shiva (Shiva Shell), the natural operculum of the turban snail Size: small, about the size of a quarter Colour: from cream and sea-glass blue to caramel and deep brown, each with its own spiral Sold individually, you receive one About the Shell The Eye of Shiva is not a mineral at all. It is an operculum, the calcareous trapdoor of a marine snail, made of aragonite and calcite over a protein base. The spiral eye is natural growth banding, not a treatment, and the operculum detaches naturally after the snail's life ends. Care Never soak it and never use salt: it is calcium carbonate over an organic layer, and acids etch it while long wetting can lift the polish. Keep it away from perfume, lotions and household cleaners, and store it apart from harder stones. Cleanse it dry with sage, sound or moonlight. A Note on Your Selection Every shell is natural, so colour, pattern and size vary from piece to piece. You will receive one shell similar to the ones pictured, chosen with care and intention by a Sacred Crystals caretaker. We trust the right piece will find its way to you.
