Shield Signet

Before there were surnames, there were shields — a family’s mark, cut into metal and carried into battle, then carried onto the hand. In the Middle Ages, a shield wasn’t just armor. It was identity, a symbol that told the world who you belonged to. The face here takes that same form, holding a stone of its own. The band is carved entirely by hand, its surface inspired by ornamental scrollwork — the kind found etched into old armor — wrapping the full way around while staying comfortable against the finger. Available in gold, silver, or platinum, set with your choice of stone from the collection.
