November Edition | Return, Repentance & Closeness to Allah Ya Allah, Allow Me to Return to You Beautifully This is for the Muslim woman who still prays and still makes dua and feels a distance she can’t explain. Somewhere along the way that distance got a story attached to it. You waited too long. You’d have to come back perfect to be received. Shame took over the narration and it sounds like humility. It sounds like taking Allah seriously. It keeps you standing at the door. Waiting until you feel worthy is a decision. You’ve been making it every day. For a little over an hour we turn around. Through guided therapeutic reflection, I bring in stories from our Islamic tradition and reminders from the Quran and Hadith that help you identify: what shame has been telling you about Allah that Allah never said what a beautiful return looks like when you are still tired and still imperfect You’ll leave able to name what has kept you away and with a clear first step back. Your return doesn’t need a performance. It needs you to start walking. You’ll leave with language for what has been hard to say to Allah and reminders you can return to long after the session ends. We pause for dhikr and dua throughout and your workbook is there for anything that needs more time than we have live.
