Origin: Western Rift Valley, Kenya Process: washed Varietal: Batian & Ruiru 11 Roast level: light In the cup: plum, grapefruit, milk chocolate Once again, for the 9th year in a row, we're back with Juicebomb! This coffee should always be something delicious, accessible, & from an interesting project we're eager to work with. Tai Agric used to just be a farm, growing variety of fruits and veg as well as raising cattle for dairy production before stepping into the coffee world just a few years ago. It's always a big risk jumping into a new sector...you could be stuck with lots of unsold coffee & be out an unimaginable sum of money. For us, it's also tricky because, we take a chance on someone new to the industry but, there was a time when WE were the newcomers and someone had to take a chance on us. They know farming, & they know the soils and rain patterns of their country...so chances are, they're the best people to be endeavouring in this direction. This coffee is an awesome first effort and we can't wait to see how it evolves NEXT year!
