Octopus

So many dots! I wanted to make a piece where I could make as few marks as possible but still have the octopus as visible as possible. I used more brush marks where the light shone most, then gradually used fewer as I moved towards the shadows. I like how our minds fill in the gaps for us to make it a more complete image. It was new to me, but I really enjoyed it and will definitely try it again. Limited edition prints available: Size A5 (limited to 150) Size A3 (limited to 100) Each fine giclée print is part of a carefully curated limited edition run.
