K-Series Earth Dreams Intake Port Block-Off Plate Designed to protect the open intake ports during cylinder head and engine repairs, this block-off plate fits multiple Honda K-Series Earth Dreams engine applications, including K24 Earth Dreams, K20 Earth Dreams, and 2.0L Turbo engines. The plate slips over the existing intake manifold studs using mounting holes at each end, allowing it to be quickly installed after the intake manifold is removed. It helps prevent tools, hardware, dirt, and other debris from accidentally falling into the intake ports while work is being performed. Compatibility Designed for: K24 Earth Dreams K20 Earth Dreams 2.0L Turbo Multi-Engine Fitment Design The intake manifold stud location varies slightly between these cylinder heads. The studs on the K20 Earth Dreams cylinder head sit slightly higher than those on the K24 Earth Dreams and 2.0L Turbo applications. To allow one plate to work across all three engine designs, the mounting hole on the left side of the plate is slotted at a slight angle. This is intentional and allows the plate to properly fit the different stud locations. Also available is a single port intake plug kit for these motors found at the link below. The plate is 3D printed from PLA, which may soften and warp around 55°C to 65°C (131°F to 149°F). Allow the engine and cylinder head to cool before installing the plate. A heat-resistant version may be offered in the future if there is enough demand. Notes This tool is fully 3D printed. Minor surface variations or small discrepancies in the print are normal due to the printing process and do not affect performance. Certain brake cleaners may cause surface discoloration. This does not compromise tool function.
