Tagetes Erecta | African Marigold (M)

The African Marigold (Tagetes erecta) is a brightly colored annual with pom-pom like blooms that thrives in sunny, warm weather. They are best grown outside during the warm months, but do well inside with 6+ hours of sunlight (or a grow light) for the ultimate blooms. They will require water once the top inch of soil feels dry. You can deadhead (remove spent blooms) regularly to encourage more flowers, and pinch back the stems when the plant is young to promote bushier growth.
