The thick stalks are exceptionally sweet and crunchy. An heirloom variety that first appeared in 1953, Tall Utah 52-70 combines classic reliability with proven performance.Plant height reaches approximately 75cm (30"), with the first joint appearing 26-28cm (10-11") up the stem. This variety holds its form and colour well in the field and delivers strong, distinctive flavour perfect for kitchen use. Recommended for both home gardeners and commercial farms, it produces impressive stalks with excellent market potential. Matures in 85 days. Average seeds per gram: 3445.
