SOL - Smart Tracer and Chronograph
GATE SOL - Smart Tracer and Chronograph GATE SOL. More control over every shot. The world’s first tracer with a chronograph that connects to the GATE Ecosystem. Pair SOL with a compatible ASTER II or TITAN II to switch your tracer or muzzle flash on and off with your fire selector, get alerts when your gun fires without BBs, and set FPS warnings with an optional lockout of further firing. With an HPA engine, you can also use automatic valve-timing calibration. Get more from SOL with a GATE ETU Pair SOL with a compatible ASTER II or TITAN II to unlock four additional features. Switch your tracer or muzzle flash on and off with your fire selector Assign tracer or muzzle flash settings to selector positions in GCS. For example, set the tracer on for the SEMI position and off for AUTO. Both selector positions can be configured to fire in semi-auto, so you can switch your tracer on and off during the game without reaching for your phone. The same control is available for muzzle flash. Get alerts when your gun fires without BBs SOL and your ETU detect shots where no BB leaves the barrel. An alert lets you know it is time to check your magazine and feeding. Get a warning when a shot exceeds your FPS limit Set your FPS limit in GCS and choose an audible warning or a muzzle flash. You can also enable your ETU to block further firing after a shot exceeds the limit. Calibrate your HPA engine automatically Follow the steps in GCS and fire the requested shots. SOL measures BB velocity, while your ETU automatically adjusts valve timing. Adjust pressure manually at the regulator, following the app’s guidance. All four features require a compatible ASTER II or TITAN II. Tracer illumination, muzzle flash, chronograph readings and SOL settings in GCS also work without a GATE ETU. Every shot becomes data The ETU knows a shot was fired. SOL detects the BB leaving the barrel and measures its velocity. GCS gives you access to readings and settings. Working together, these devices enable no-BB shot alerts, FPS warnings and an optional block on further firing after a shot exceeds your limit. With HPA, they also enable automatic valve-timing calibration. See what your tuning changes Compare muzzle velocity before and after changing your settings. Check shot-to-shot consistency and measure rate of fire (ROF). SOL stays on your gun, with readings available in GCS while tracer illumination and muzzle flash are running. You do not need to remove your tracer to check FPS. Enter the weight of the BBs you are using and GCS will also calculate their energy in joules. Supported readings can also be shown on STATUS Mini. Compare trigger response Find out how a change in settings affects your gun's response. With a compatible ETU, SOL measures the time from trigger activation to the BB leaving the barrel — trigger-to-muzzle. Compare the results across settings to see the effect of your tuning. Calibrate your HPA engine automatically Follow the steps in GCS and fire the requested shots. SOL measures BB velocity, while your ETU automatically adjusts valve timing. Adjust pressure manually at the regulator, following the app’s guidance. Supports single- and dual-solenoid engines. GATE patent pending. Switch your tracer or muzzle flash on and off with your fire selector Assign tracer or muzzle flash settings to selector positions in GCS. Both selector positions can be configured to fire in semi-auto, so you can switch your tracer on and off during the game without reaching for your phone. An alert lets you know it is time to check your magazine and feeding. Green or red tracer BBs. Your choice of muzzle flash. SOL illuminates both green and red tracer BBs. Choose a single muzzle flash color, a rainbow effect or your own color sequence. You can also use standard 6 mm airsoft BBs; tracer illumination requires tracer BBs. NORMAL — illuminates every compatible tracer BB. SNIPER — illuminates selected BBs at set intervals. OFF — disables tracer illumination; other functions are configured separately. Choose from four muzzle flash effects: Mode Effect MONO One selected RGB color. BIFROST A rainbow muzzle flash effect. MULTILAYER Up to 7 configurable RGB color layers in one effect. DYNAMIC A sequence of up to 7 colors, changing after a set number of shots. Move your gun to wake SOL Motion activation wakes SOL when you move your gun. You can disable the device's sound signals to change settings quietly. Recharge the built-in battery through USB-C. Choose your setup Your setup What you get SOL Tracer illumination and muzzle flash, with basic controls on the device. SOL + GCS SOL settings, chronograph readings, device status and firmware updates. No GATE ETU required. SOL + compatible GATE ETU + GCS Also adds selector control, alarms and an optional block on further firing, no-BB shot detection and trigger-to-muzzle measurement. With an HPA engine: automatic calibration. Compatibility and access to features TITAN II Bluetooth® for V2 gearboxes. ASTER II Bluetooth® for V2 and V3 gearboxes. STATUS Mini for displaying supported measurements. GATE Control Station (GCS) for configuration and readings. SOL works with GATE PTX through its built-in ASTER II. Connect and configure both devices in GCS. SOL supports simultaneous connections to multiple devices. ETU-related features are available across BASIC/ADVANCED tiers, with no extra fees to unlock them. You need a compatible ASTER II or TITAN II. Display compatibility covers STATUS Mini; the full-size STATUS is not compatible. Where will you use SOL? In your GATE setup: bring ASTER II or TITAN II settings and SOL readings together in one app. This also includes PTX with its built-in ASTER II. At the workbench: compare velocity, ROF and shot-to-shot consistency. Add a compatible ETU to measure trigger response. When tuning HPA: work through automatic engine calibration with guidance from GCS. In CQB and night games: use tracer illumination and muzzle flash, and switch their settings with your selector when paired with a compatible ETU. Without a GATE ETU: use tracer illumination, muzzle flash, chronograph readings and SOL settings in GCS.
