Vintage brass and green marble Coffee Table

Superb quality large vintage mid-century French coffee table with a magnificent, richly veined green marble top. The substantial marble rests on an elegant brass frame, supported by four beautifully detailed faux bois legs, each with finely worked decoration and shaped feet. The contrasting polished brass and wonderfully patterned green marble create a particularly striking combination. The overall quality, design and distinctive leg detailing are reminiscent of the work of renowned French decorative metalwork house Maison Baguès, to whom we tentatively attribute this piece. A fabulous statement coffee table with wonderful proportions, equally suited to a traditional drawing room or a more contemporary interior. (1091C) Dimensions: Width 100cm, depth 62cm, height 37cm
