Product Description For this ring, we paired an 8–9mm Akoya pearl with a larger 10–11mm South Sea gold pearl, choosing both for their strong luster and only very slight natural marks on the surface. The difference in size and color is the main idea behind the piece—the smaller white Akoya keeps one side light, while the larger golden pearl gives the other side more weight. The 18K gold band uses an open bypass design, placing the two pearls opposite each other without adding extra stones or decorative metalwork. We liked keeping this one very simple because the contrast between the two pearl types already gives the ring enough character.
