The Oxherd Boy World II (18"x18")

The quintessential panorama capturing the magic world of the oxherd boy and his community of family and friends, shows incredible detail and care in the rendering of a spare cliff side hugging a rock-strewn shore, mountains fading into the distance, and Chinese junks sailing out to where seagulls frolic. One half of a diptych, this printed scroll can be hung to the right of its partner that extends the landscape out towards more populated land. About the Item Printed on matte, 192 g/m² paper sourced from Japan, this unique wall scroll reinterprets a traditional painted scroll found in East Asian art in a modern way.
