Visual Comfort Madden Fluted Linear Sconce

The Visual Comfort Madden Fluted Linear Sconce by Visual Comfort, designed by Chapman & Myers for the Signature Collection, is a tall decorative wall sconce formed from natural alabaster. Its translucent, veined shade is intended to give soft, diffused ambient and accent illumination for interior spaces. The design pairs a clean, linear silhouette with classical vertical fluting. Deep ribs run the full height of the shade, creating a rhythmic play of light and shadow that suits both contemporary and transitional interiors; the form is especially effective when used in pairs to flank mirrors or doorways.Crafted from natural alabaster, each shade will display its own subtle veining and tonal variation. Small circular metal finials at the top and bottom provide a discreet contrast in a dark metallic finish, underscoring the fixture's considered detailing. The internal light source is concealed by the shade so the fitting delivers low-glare, evenly diffused illumination. When lit the alabaster reveals warm internal texture, making this sconce well suited to ambient and accent applications in protected indoor zones (IP22).Product notes: this model is supplied in a 120V configuration only and specifies the use of a smaller outlet box for mounting. Alabaster is a natural stone so variations in colour and texture are expected. The manufacturer provides a 1 year warranty. At Lighting Design Online we frame choices around clear design intent. The Madden sconce is straightforward to specify for ambient and accent layers; our team offers project-friendly guidance on siting, lamping and installation so the final outcome is assured, considered and right for the space.
