Transparent Lock by Gary Foshee

A short while back Gary Foshee's wife Nedra and their daughters gave us their blessing to make a number of Transparent Locks. Transparent Lock was one of Gary's best known and hard to obtain designs. It is a sequential discovery lock. The goal is to open it and, as the name suggests much of the trickery is hidden in plain sight. Gary produced only two small runs before deciding not to make any more, describing them as "a nuisance" to make. We now understand why! Every lock we make is clearly distinguishable from one of Gary's originals. Our version includes a brass-handled key, allowing collectors to identify it instantly while preserving Gary's original design. The puzzle comes complete with an information card in a protective case and a display stand.
