Colourlock Old Leather Softener: Colourlock Old Leather Softener is a professional leather softener that loosens hardened leather fibres and makes brittle old leather supple again. Ideal as preparation for leather repairs or for the care of classic and vintage leather. Repairs to cracks and breaks using liquid leather must be carried out before treatment with the Old Leather Softener. Apply Old Leather Softener to a sponge or soft cloth and wipe the leather. Ideally, treat the leather from the reverse side. After application, allow the leather to rest at room temperature for at least 24 hours. Repeat the process if necessary. After each treatment, gently massage and knead the leather to loosen the fibres. Do not perform more than three treatments. A maximum of one litre of Old Leather Softener is needed for an entire, very dry vehicle interior. Before dyeing, the surface must be degreased again. Afterward, condition the leather.
