Okuma Lawaiʻa Series Introducing the Lawaiʻa Series, a special collaboration with Okuma featuring two Hawaiian Custom spinning rods in exclusive colorways: Ube Tide and Sage Tide. Built on Okuma’s Hawaiian Custom Series, these rods are designed for the unique demands of Hawaiʻi’s shore-based fishermen. Developed with input from local fishermen across the islands, the Hawaiian Custom Series combines the actions local anglers look for with components made to handle Hawaiʻi’s rugged fishing conditions. Both Lawaiʻa Series models feature ALPS 316 stainless steel guide frames with zirconium guide inserts for use with braided or monofilament lines, along with a split-butt design for reduced weight and improved balance. The 10'7" comes in Ube Tide, while the 12'0" comes in Sage Tide. Created exclusively for the Lawaiʻa Series, these two special colorways bring an S.
