Since it has no fabric lining, it stays lightweight and comfortable without additional warmth, making it useful for travel, camping, or keeping in your backpack or purse. It can also be worn during the summer by dogs that need protection from windy, wet weather but do not need an additional warm layer. The coat is laminated with a soft, smooth waterproof membrane rather than a fabric lining. Its leash attachment opening snaps closed to help prevent water from running down your dog’s back, while the waterproof rain stopper collar tightens behind the ears to help keep water from running down the neck. The seams are fully taped for added protection against moisture.
