Headphones Stand

A headphone stand doesn't have to be an afterthought. This one was built as a small piece of furniture in its own right, combining figured maple, sapele and walnut in a simple, sculptural form. The figured maple uprights provide the visual focus, with the rich warmth of sapele forming the base and centre support. Exposed walnut dowels pass through the uprights, adding a small bit of flair while also becoming part of the structure. The curved centre support gives the headphones a natural place to rest, while the weighted base keeps everything stable and within easy reach. Small enough to sit comfortably on a desk or audio cabinet, but detailed enough to deserve a closer look. Handcrafted from figured maple, Sapele and walnut by Maughan Made.
