TCC – Tango Cover Case

A product designed to protect the plug port on the TangoFire 4000 WMLRF. Features: – Port is encased to help prevent the plug in port and cable from becoming damaged during transportation, storage and use. – There is also an access window cut into the plug case to still allow to reach in and disconnect the cable without having to remove the case from the Fire4000. – Built in sun screen. This allows for the rear screen to block the sun to prevent glare and enables the brightness setting to be lowered for longer battery life. It also helps reduce visual signature in low light conditions preventing excess light leaking out. Kit Includes: – (4) M2x10mm Screws for install. – Tango Cover Case. Installation: (Please READ Carefully) The tolerances on the TCC are tight enough where it will likely stay on without screws but the screws aid in securing it to the Fire 4000. You must remove 2 of the existing housing screws to install the new, longer screws. If you remove all 4 screws, you run the risk of damaging the internals or the weatherproof gasket on the inside. Leaving 2 screws in, prevents this. We recommend only using 2 or 3 of the screws provided to replace the factory screws. Remove the old screws – Mount the TCC – Install the longer screws supplied with the kit. Hand tight only. Over tightening risks cracking the TCC. All of our products are backed by a lifetime warranty.
