Flamenco

Platycerium ‘Flamenco’ is a staghorn fern with a steady shield-frond crown and fertile fronds that loosen into long, rippling lines. The shape reads differently as the plant grows: first composed, then apparently halfway through a dance it did not announce. Staghorns are epiphytic ferns, and those two frond types form the structure you see on the mount. The current listing assigns particular species as parents; that lineage should be verified against the breeder before it is repeated as fact. What is visible needs no pedigree. The fern has already found its stage and refuses to stand still.
