This ornamental display piece features a real feather from a domestically raised bird (in compliance with the Migratory Bird Treaty Act). The feathers are naturally molted, ensuring no bird was harmed for the sake of art! This specific feather comes from a Guinea Fowl that I helped raise for natural tick control. Copper electroformed with a peekaboo effect to display the natural colors and spotted pattern of the feather. This display piece is approx. 6.25" long and 1.5” wide.
