Luzon bleeding heart dove (green)

Luzon bleeding heart/bleeding heart dove portrait This special piece has been slow made entirely by hand. I used an Oxford punch needle and all of my favourite yarn from my stash of vintage and secondhand fibres that were all sourced from various charity shops. There is so much texture in this piece!! The ‘blood’ and the star have been felted using red woving and hand beaded using tiny seed beads. 5 small brass bells hand sewn into piece make the most gorgeous twinkly sounds This piece is finished with hand stitched backing, a D ring for easy hanging and a hand embroidered label on the back.
