Russian silver braid loops over white wool base denoting infantry branch. Golden numerals '39. applied to each. Button on type boards. Along with a pair of collar badges of the Leutnant rank. Silver bullion thread columns on dark green wool base. One badge with moth nip to reverse. Generally very good condition set removed directly from a tunic of an infantry officer. The 39th Infantry Regiment subordinated to 26th Infantry Division. The Division fought on the Eastern Front and later at Kursk.
