SecureCattle®1000 ml An advanced solution that acts as a synthetic analogue of the calming pheromone BAP (Bovine Appeasing Pheromone), naturally secreted by cattle via the sebaceous glands of the udder. SecureCattle® mimics the action of this natural pheromone and helps reduce stress. Stress can have a negative effect on fertility, immune system, growth, meat quality, group formation and behaviour. Benefits of SecureCattle® SecureCattle® is an easy-to-use pour-on solution that helps cattle cope better with stressful situations such as transport, (export) assembly points, treatments, (hoof) care, inseminations, shearing or adapting to a new environment. By reducing stress and the associated energy waste, and preventing aggression and fighting, SecureCattle® promotes optimal animal performance and supports a healthy immune system. Also for calves Calves are exposed to various stress factors during the pre-weaning period, such as separation from the mother, changes in diet and group formation. These factors can affect their health and performance. Application and duration of action Apply 5 ml of the ready-to-use solution to the shoulders or between the horns. Apply 4–6 hours prior to a stressful situation. Duration of action: up to 15 days after application.
