Like all artwork found on Coquito Season®, this piece was originally hand-drawn and watercolor illustrated by Coquito Season® co-founder and longtime cartoonist J. Justiniano (AKA Nutz Art), who has been creating artwork for over 20 years. Roberto Clemente believed deeply in helping young people. He understood that many children lacked access to proper baseball fields, equipment, and training opportunities. Through his charitable work and foundation efforts, he dedicated himself to creating opportunities for the next generation both on and off the field. As parents ourselves, we wanted to create something fun that celebrates Puerto Rican culture, honors one of our island's greatest heroes, and hopefully sparks curiosity in young fans who may be learning about Roberto Clemente's story for the very first time.
