This enchanting farm, located at an altitude of 2120 – 2210 meters amidst a natural forest, is surrounded by indigenous trees, some of which are said to be older than 200 years, alongside rivers and waterfalls. The farm produces mainly JARC 74112 & cultivated local varieties, ensuring meticulous processing, featuring Natural, Honey, and Anaerobic Natural micro-lots. Cherries are sourced not only from the farm but also from registered out-grower farmers in nearby villages. Gatta Farm was once a natural forest until co-founder Mulugeta Dukamo discovered it. Coffee planting began in 2013, and a drying station was established in 2017. The farm provides jobs and fair wages to local residents, including women involved in processing and quality control. Beyond farming, Gatta includes a lodge and training facility for workers and trainees. Daye Bensa, founded in 2006 by Asefa and Mulugeta Dukamo, is known for high-quality coffee and earned top placements in Cup of Excellence competitions (2020–2022). The company also collaborates with out-growers and washing stations across Sidama Bensa, showcasing diverse coffee profiles.
