Beginners Appliqué Workshop

ABOUT Maybe you have a jacket you want to give a new lease of life or a pair of jeans with a wee stain that needs hiding, or even a tote bag you want to personalise. Learn appliqué techniques to mend or embellish your garments, or to use in quilting projects, along with stitches to finish your work beautifully. You’ll play and experiment with using different shapes to build a design, and learn the foundational skills to scale up your work to larger projects in the future. WHAT TO BRING Please bring glasses if you wear them, and fabric scissors if you wish, although workshop scissors will be on hand. You are welcome to bring something to appliqué onto if you wish, or use what we provide to practice appliqué techniques. Please note that we only have plug in radiators, and the shop can be cold in Winter and sometimes Summer, so bring an extra layer. Please see the FAQ or email with further questions.
