1/24 Eunos Roadster Mazda MX-5
Image shows painted and assembled kit. Mazda's Roadster has been a massive hit since it debuted in September 1989, and this car was sold through the Japanese company's Eunos channel. Compact and with sensuous rounded body lines, retractable headlights and front triangular windows were popular design themes for this car, which came with a hand-operated soft top as standard. Under the hood was a 120hp 1,597cc DOHC inline-four engine, which was paired with a five-speed manual transmission and four wheel independent double-wishbone suspension. Its powerplant frame (PPF) linked the transmission and the differential and was designed to limit stresses on the chassis of this lightweight FR sports car, giving the driver direct feedback and feel.
