Aug 5 - Fermented Veggies [6:30-8:30pm]
In this make-and-take hands-on class, you’ll learn about the powerful health benefits of fermented foods. You’ll chop some veggies to put into mason jars, add some brine, and then you’ll take it all home to sit on a shelf for a couple of weeks to begin the fermentation process. We’ll be making: * Sauerkraut * Dilly Carrots * Green Beans About your instructor: Stacey Maedge is the founder of Gut Check. She's a Navy veteran and a Functional Nutritional Therapy Practitioner and believer that food is medicine.
