Our standalone lightweight aluminum front bumper skid plate replaces the low quality cardboard-like bumper under tray. This product is compatible with our G70 Oil Pan Skid Plate. An oil filter access cover is built in! Made to replace the OEM bumper skid plate. You can still rock our V2 Street Splitter with this set up!! Notes This is a replacement for the skid plate located underneath the front bumper. You will need both basic tools, and a 1/4-20" rivet nut (rivnut) tool for proper installation. Intercooler Option If you have an aftermarket/enlarged intercooler is it likely that the FSPE skid plate will touch it. This is because it was originally designed to fit the OEM intercooler. Aftermarket intercoolers typically hang lower as a result of them being at a higher flow & space capacity. We give you the option to purchase a skid plate with an opening just behind the 2 front mounting points for an intercooler. The size of the aftermarket intercooler opening is 33.5" Wide (left-to-right) & 5" Deep (front-to-back) The opening was designed around a Mishimoto intercooler for the 3.3T model.
