Porto - Black Leather - Penny Loafers

The Porto is our penny loafer in black French calfskin, built on last 8 for a slightly broader fit through the waist. The leather is tanned in Italy, and the shoe is made by hand in our European ateliers. The penny strap is hand-stitched, four stitches per shoe. The sole is made from Artisan Rubber, a Reinhard Frans signature in a natural rubber blend. The profile runs thin so the shoe sits close to the ground without the bulk of a traditional rubber sole. Orange inserts at heel and toe reinforce the contact points that take the most wear. Quieter than leather on hard floors, more grip on stone. A formal shoe that also works on a Saturday.
