Date Night New York Bagel Making Spend a fun evening together learning how to make classic New York-style bagels in this hands-on date night workshop. You and your partner will be guided step by step through the bagel-making process, from mixing and kneading the dough to shaping, boiling, and baking your own batch of golden, chewy bagels. In this class, you’ll learn what gives bagels their signature texture, how to hand-roll and shape them, and how boiling before baking helps create that classic New York-style finish. You’ll also learn tips for working with toppings and simple flavor variations so you can customize your bagels. During the final portion of class, you’ll relax and enjoy your freshly baked bagels with cream cheese. It’s a casual, hands-on way to spend time together, learn something new, and enjoy fresh bagels made from scratch. All materials and ingredients are provided. NY Cake Academy classes are held in our Manhattan flagship at 118 W 22nd St. All supplies and materials included, but if you require any special accommodations please don't hesitate to contact us at custom@nycakeacademy.com. Our classes are hands-on, interactive experiences. So, please dress accordingly. We recommend wearing casual clothing that you won’t mind getting a little sugar on, and flat comfortable shoes. Open toed shoes and sandals are not recommended as this is a safety concern when working within a kitchen. Long hair should be tied back.
