📋 Scope of Work: Mid-Century Carver Armchair Restoration ​Item Profile: 1x Mid-Century Rosando / Zoureff Carver Armchair (Z-Arm Profile) ​Project Type: Full Premium Restoration (Not a light restoration) ​🪵 Timber Framework & Refinishing ​Complete Strip-Back: The dynamic "Z-shaped" armrests and tapered legs will be stripped completely back to bare timber to remove old, degraded finishes. ​Precision Sanding: A detailed combination of machine and hand sanding through progressive grits up to an ultra-smooth 180 to 240-grit profile to maximize wood grain clarity. ​Premium Coating: Sealed and finished with a two-coat Osmo Satin Oil-Wax treatment for a durable, silky, authentic mid-century sheen. ​🪑 Stripping & Internal Structural Rebuild ​Bare-Bones Deconstruction: Complete strip-out of all existing vintage materials down to the structural frame—including removal of degraded fabric, original wadding, internal springs, and perished webbing. ​Foundation Renewal: Installation of heavy-duty commercial upholstery webbing across the seat and backrest platforms to reinstate lasting structural integrity. ​Premium Re-Foaming: Rebuilt using high-resiliency commercial foams tailored to match the factory silhouette: ​Seat Cushion: Sculpted into a supportive, contoured dome shape profile. ​Backrest: Patterned cleanly with a tailored, flat finish true to the original mid-century design architecture. ​🧵 Tailored Upholstery Execution ​Pattern Alignment: Precise cutting and execution to match the exact lines and detailing of the original factory design specifications. ​Material Sourcing: Fabric/leather material selection to be finalized by the client. ​🚫 Out of Scope / Exclusions ​Material Cost: Price excludes the cost of the chosen upholstery fabric or leather hide. ​Logistics: Price excludes secure pickup and delivery services (item to be dropped off and collected from the workshop by the client unless organized otherwise).
