Problad® is a next-generation biofungicide powered by BLAD, a naturally derived protein fragment from the seed storage protein β-conglutin in Lupinus albus (sweet white lupin). During seed germination, this protein is broken down and BLAD forms as a biologically active peptide with strong antifungal properties. BLAD binds to key structural components in fungal cells, disrupting the cell wall and membrane while interfering with essential metabolic processes.
