Hammered Tungsten Carbide Ring with dual Vintage Fordite inlays

This is a beautiful, handcrafted Artisan ring made in my small shop in Ottawa, Ontario, in Canada. This ring is offered with stunning dual Fordite inlays in a 10mm wide hammered and polished tungsten carbide comfort fit core. Fordite, or "Detroit agate," is a unique, upcycled material composed of hardened, multi-layered overspray paint from automotive factory paint booths, primarily in the 1960s–70s. As cars were hand-sprayed and baked, layers built up, creating colorful, stone-like patterns when cut and polished into jewelry. Due to modern, efficient painting methods, genuine, high-quality Fordite is now rare and considered a "motor city" vintage collectible. US full and half ring sizes from 6 - 13 are available. Your ring will last many years if cared for properly. An occasional light buffing with wood or metal appropriate polish will keep your handmade ring looking great. Please avoid harsh abrasives.
