Patches are not guaranteed. The lineage of this iconic WW2 era shirt began with the adoption of an inferior design in 1933. Efforts to move towards a "sports style design" started to be made by the late 30's and very early 40s. The result was a shirt better suited for mobility and a wider range of climates.
