A NOTE FROM THE CURATOR The Reverso has always been a watch of two personalities, but few references embrace that duality as completely as the Reverso Tribute Chronograph. On one side, a handsome blue sunburst dial pays tribute to the elegance of the original 1931 design. Flip the case over, and the watch reveals an entirely different character, a highly technical open-worked display showcasing Jaeger-LeCoultre's remarkable in-house Calibre 860. Rather than adapting a traditional chronograph to fit a rectangular case, Jaeger-LeCoultre reimagined the complication from the ground up. The result is a striking retrograde 30-minute counter, a central chronograph seconds hand, and one of the most visually engaging modern chronograph movements on the market today. Happy hunting, - Brent CONDITION REPORT & CONTENTS This Jaeger-LeCoultre Reverso Tribute Chronograph Ref. Q389848J is presented in overall excellent condition, showing only light signs of careful wear throughout. The stainless steel case and JLC folding clasp displays minor hairlines and small surface scuffs consistent with occasional use, with no major dents, dings, or notable damage. A small surface scuff is present on the lower right lug. Both the recto and verso dials remain exceptionally well preserved, with the blue sunray-brushed front dial and open-worked reverse chronograph display presenting beautifully. Originally purchased in 2024, the watch has not been serviced and is running well at the time of cataloguing. It remains covered by the balance of Jaeger-LeCoultre's 8-year manufacturer's warranty.
