Cake Bucket No.2 has arrived.Layers of vanilla sponge stacked into a 1.5 litre bucket, filled with a vanilla bean buttercream so light it tastes like cream. Mixed berry compote runs through the middle alongside crisp pieces of meringue. On top: more buttercream, more meringue, more compote and a scatter of white chocolate shavings. Bright, fruity and made for sharing with a few good people and a few spoons. Take it to a picnic. Take it to a birthday. Take it back to bed. Up to you.
